九谷の置物産地・八幡エリアにある創業80 年の窯元「八弘窯」。かつて八弘窯でつくられた七福神を「 素焼き七福神」としてリバイバルしました。愛嬌のある笑顔が癒しをもたらします。縁起置物としての用途はもちろん、素焼き仕上げとする事で簡易加湿器やアロマストーンとしてもご使用いただける機能を付加しました。玄関先やリビング・オフィスなどでお気軽にお使いいただけます。専用能登ちりめん座布団・七福神解説書兼取扱説明書付き、桐箱入です。
 
元はインドのシヴァ神の化身で日本の大国主命と習合したもの。食物を司る「台所の神様」でありしだいに財福開運の神様として信仰されていった。
Daitokuten was originally the incarnation of the Indian god Shiva, and subsequently syncretized with Okuninushi, a Japanese deity. He was first a “deity of the kitchen” that ruled over food, and gradually became a deity of wealth and good fortune.
