九谷の置物産地・八幡エリアにある創業80 年の窯元「八弘窯」。かつて八弘窯でつくられた七福神を「 素焼き七福神」としてリバイバルしました。愛嬌のある笑顔が癒しをもたらします。縁起置物としての用途はもちろん、素焼き仕上げとする事で簡易加湿器やアロマストーンとしてもご使用いただける機能を付加しました。玄関先やリビング・オフィスなどでお気軽にお使いいただけます。専用能登ちりめん座布団・七福神解説書兼取扱説明書付き、桐箱入です。
 
中国の道教の神で、南極老人星の化身。
杖には巻物が結びつけられていて人間の寿命が記されているという。健康と長寿の神様として信仰されている。

and the personification of the southern pole star Canopus. 
He has a stick tied with a scroll on 
which “human longevity” is written.
This deity is worshipped
